Homage to Ansel Adams


Tijekom pripreme posljednjeg članka iz serijala o foto velikanima, ponovno sam ostao oduševljen sa radovima g. Ansel Adamsa, te sam stoga njemu u… u čast, odabrao svojih 20-ak landscape fotografija i prebacio ih u crno bijeli svijet. Nadam se da nećete pomisliti da sam prolupao i da svoje radove uspoređujem s njegovim, jer je on bio pionir u onome što je radio, te je u mnogome doprinio popularizaciji i uvažavanju fotografije kao umjetnosti na svjetskoj razini. Stoga, ovo je samo jedna mala posveta u znak divljenja i zahvalnosti za sve što nam je ostavio iza sebe.

    Hi MirkoB,

    You have some very fine black and white photos in that gallery. I enjoyed looking at them. The only critique I would have is that the images are too small to be fully appreciated. For me they could be almost twice as big and I would see much more detail in the images.

    Ah well, whenever I read a sentence like that I can’t help but feel that at some level the writer is doing exactly that. But in this case it would be a fair comparison. Some of these photos are really superb, and I’m sure they’d be even better were they not downsized so much. Thank you for posting these and for reminding me of why I got interested in photography in the first place.

    Beautiful shots, and great processing. I love B&W when done well, and you certainly do it well. I’m pretty sure Ansel would have been pleased with these shots. I too would love to see larger versions of them.

    Lijepa posveta Anselu. Slažem se sa komentarom gore da bi fotke mogle biti veće, ovako sitne gube puno ljepote. No, bilo bi mi zanimljivo vidjeti i gdje su pofotkane. Ako je kako moguće?

    Uglavnom, jako lijepa serija.

    Hvala. Morati cu vidjeti sa webmajstorom kakve su tehnicke mogucnosti da fotografije u blogu budu makar 640 pix sira strana, a u galerijama 800 pix. To bi vjerujem bilo bolje.
